- This documentation for this is simple.
- This is a SALT script for loggin onto CompuServe. It's similiar to the
- one provided with Telix with the important exception being that the
- CompuServe B protocol is enabled only during the CompuServe Session.
- It's rather undesirable to leave CompuServe B on at all times.
- CompuServe uses an ASCII 16 (^P) to invoke a file transfer. Should
- this character be sent to the terminal by accident, such as by line
- noise and there is no CompuServe Host expecting a file transfer,
- TELIX WILL CRASH.
-
- The use of the translation tables isn't required to enable this
- feature but was incorporated for those folks who might be desiring
- the use of them, especially as a default, or for special services
- other than compuserve.
-
- In this file, both XLT tables: CLEAR and TELIX don't really do
- anything. They're dummies to fool around with as your heart desires.
